India-China faceoff: PM Modi to chair all-party meet at 5 pm today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an all-party meeting on Friday over the ongoing India-China border situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The meeting is scheduled to take place at 5 pm.
Media reports say that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reached out to heads of all political parties and invited them to the all-party meet. However, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has not been invited to the meeting as the party does not meet the requirement of more than 5 MPs in the Lok Sabha required for Friday~s meet.

The officers and jawans were held by the Chinese after the violent face-off between the two countries on June 15-16 where 20 Indian troops lost their lives.
Ten Indian soldiers, including four officers, were released by the Chinese Army after a hectic round of negotiations at the Major General-level talks between the two sides in the Galwan valley.

"All the 10 troops were returned to the Indian side by around 1600 hours on Thursday after the Major General-level talks. With this, all troops are accounted for now," sources told news agency ANI.
